The Norwegian–English Dictionary of Criminal-Law Terms is published in a new edition. It contains 2200 Norwegian and English terms that are crucial to understanding Norwegian criminal law. Most of the terms have been taken direct from the text of the relevant Norwegian acts and from authoritative English translations of these acts. Most of the entries have explanations and usage examples in both Norwegian and English. The dictionary also contains an English–Norwegian index.

The author, Ronald Walford, is an English lawyer resident in Oslo. For the past 30 years he has been constantly engaged in the translation into English of numerous Norwegian legal texts and major acts of Norwegian legislation.
